Yes, we do allow walk-on players at our Appin centre. If you decide to drop in, we will aim to match you with an existing group so you can get straight into the action.

To avoid disappointment on the day, we suggest:

  • Availability Check: Give our Sydney team a quick call on 1300 785 766 before you set off for Appin. We can let you know the best arrival times and if there are any private events currently occupying the game zones.

  • Avoid the Wait: On peak days (Saturdays and Sundays), we prioritize players with existing bookings. Calling ahead ensures you aren’t waiting in the base camp for the next available session.

  • MiniBall Note: If you are interested in MiniBall (Ages 8–11, launching Jan 31st), a booking is highly recommended as specialized equipment for this age group is limited.

Sydney Pro-Tip: Since the Appin centre is a destination venue, most players book in advance. A quick phone call before you leave home ensures a session is ready for you when you arrive!

No. While the group Organiser typically secures the date with an initial booking, we can often arrange for individual players to pay for their own packs. Please speak with our event coordinators at 1300 785 766 to discuss the best way to manage your group’s payments.

Yes. All players are required to complete an online registration form before they arrive at the centre.

  • Under 16s: Players under 16 must have their form signed by a parent or guardian.

  • Group Tip: We recommend sending the registration link to your entire group with your invitations to ensure a fast check-in.

  • Accessing the Link: Please ask your event coordinator for your unique group link when finalizing your booking.

At Delta Force Paintball, we cater to groups of all sizes! Whether you are coming alone or bringing a small squad, you can always get in on the action.

Private Game Upgrades

If your group prefers the exclusivity of playing only against each other, we offer Private Game packages. This provides your group with dedicated game zones and your own private marshals to manage your sessions throughout the day.

  • Large Groups (40+): Any group of 40+ prepaid players qualifies for a complimentary private game at no extra cost.

  • Small Group Privacy: For groups smaller than 40 who still desire a private experience, please contact our booking office. Private games for smaller groups under 40 players, incur an additional fee to cover the cost of dedicated staffing and exclusive field use.

  • Centre Discretion: Please note that all private game arrangements are subject to staff availability and the discretion of the Centre Manager.

At Delta Force Paintball, there is no strict minimum or maximum number of players required to book; we welcome everything from solo players to large corporate groups. However, your group size determines how your session is structured:

  • Small Groups & Individuals: Any group size is fine! If you have a small group, we will simply join you with other players of a similar age and ability to ensure a high-energy, competitive atmosphere.

  • Forming Your Own Team: If you bring 20 or more players, you will have enough recruits to form your own dedicated team to play against other groups on the day.

  • Private Game Requirements: To secure an exclusive Private Game (where your group plays alone on the game zones with your own dedicated marshals), a minimum of 40 prepaid players is required.

  • Centre Opening Minimums: While we accept all group sizes, please note that a minimum total number of players across all bookings is required to open the centre on a specific day. If no other groups are booked in for your requested time, our event coordinators will discuss alternative dates or times with you.

Pro-Tip for Organisers: You can make your booking now for the players you have 100% confirmed. You are welcome to add additional players to your booking up until a few days before your event, subject to availability.

While we occasionally accept last-minute bookings, we highly recommend booking at least 10–14 days in advance, especially for Saturdays and Sundays, which frequently sell out.

Yes. At Delta Force Paintball Sydney, we recommend booking for your minimum confirmed players as early as possible. Our Appin centre is the most popular in NSW and sessions fill up quickly.

  • Secure the Appin Field: Booking for your core group now ensures you don’t miss out on your desired date and session time.

  • Add Players Later: You are welcome to add more players to your Sydney booking up until a few days before your event. Call our coordination team to check availability, and we will do our best to accommodate the extra recruits.

  • Stress-Free Planning: Don’t let a few “maybe” responses hold up the entire group. Lock in the confirmed players now to officially start the countdown to game day.

Sydney Pro-Tip: Demand for our Appin game zones is high. We suggest booking for your confirmed players today and then sending a “final call” to the rest of the group once the date is locked in.

At Delta Force Paintball Sydney (Appin), the minimum age to participate in paintball is 12 years old. This follows the legal requirements set by the NSW Government for paintball activities.

  • Standard Paintball (Ages 12+): All players under the age of 16 must have a parental consent form(Online registration) completed prior to arrival at the Appin centre.

  • Safety First: Our Sydney centre uses .50 calibre low-impact paintballs, which are specifically designed to be lighter and more comfortable for younger players and beginners, ensuring a fun experience for the 12+ age group.

  • NEW: MiniBall (Ages 8–11): Starting February 1st, 2026, Delta Force Sydney is proud to launch MiniBall! This specially designed, low-impact version of the game allows children as young as 8 to join the action in a safe, supervised environment.

Sydney Parent Tip: With the launch of MiniBall at Appin, you can now host the ultimate birthday party for kids aged 8-11. It’s the perfect way for younger siblings to finally get off the sidelines and into the game!

We want every “young gun” at our Sydney centres to have a world-class experience. Here is how we manage player groupings:

  • Balanced Matchmaking: Our practice is to separate children and adult groups to ensure a fair competitive environment. We make every effort to match your group with players of a similar age and ability.

  • Legal Restrictions (Ages 8–11): Under NSW law, children under 12 cannot participate in standard paintball. To bridge this gap, MiniBall (Ages 8–11) will be launching on 31st January 2026 . These sessions will be conducted in a separate environment with specialized gear, ensuring younger kids play only with their peers.
  • Mixed-Age Exceptions: You might see adults on the field in a youth session if they are parents or guardians participating in the same booking. We find that many Sydney parents love getting in on the action with their kids!

  • Professional Marshalling: All games are managed by our highly trained marshals. They act as “referees” to ensure all players—regardless of age—follow safety protocols and that the games remain fair and exciting.

Sydney Organiser Tip: With MiniBall launching for ages 8–11 on January 31st, these sessions are specifically tailored for younger recruits. It’s the perfect way to ensure your child plays with their peers in a safe, controlled setting.

There is no way of knowing how many paintballs any individual will use, as it depends on how trigger-happy you are. It is entirely up to each person how many paintballs they want to use but a good indication is about 200 paintballs per game zone. You can decide how many game zones you play and further paintballs are available to purchase on the day at your discretion.

All prepayments and paintball allocations are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a player fails to attend on your scheduled date, their individual prepayment and paintball credits are forfeited and cannot be used by other members of the group.

Why this policy exists: We staff our centres and prepare equipment based on your confirmed player count. To ensure you have the best experience, we recommend only prepaying for players who have 100% confirmed their attendance. You can always add more players to your booking up until a few days before your event.

Yes. All sessions at Delta Force Paintball Sydney proceed in almost all weather conditions. Paintball is an all-weather outdoor sport, and our Appin centre is fully equipped to ensure your group has a world-class experience regardless of the elements.

  • Sheltered Base Camp: Our Sydney (Appin) centre features undercover areas designed to keep your group dry and comfortable between game zones.

  • Secure Lockers: We provide on-site lockers to ensure your dry clothes, electronics, and valuables remain protected while you are on the field.

  • Tactical Advantage: Many Sydney players find that rain adds an extra layer of excitement and tactical challenge to our outdoor bush-terrain game zones.

Weather & Cancellation Policy: In the unlikely event that a session cannot proceed due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or “Force Majeure Events” (circumstances beyond reasonable human control), Delta Force Paintball Sydney reserves the right to issue a full-value credit for the booking instead of a refund.

  • Flexibility: This credit is valid for a future booking date at our Appin centre.

  • Transferable: The credit may be used by the original customer or transferred to another person.

  • Safety First: Cancellations are rare and only occur if our Centre Manager deems conditions (such as lightning or extreme winds) unsafe for players or staff.

Pro-Tip for Sydney Players: If rain is forecast for the Appin region, we recommend bringing a towel and a spare change of clothes to leave in your car. This ensures a comfortable and dry journey home after the action!

Yes. Free on-site parking is available, though spaces can be limited during peak periods. We strongly recommend carpooling where possible.

We offer both morning and afternoon sessions to fit your squad’s schedule. Because operating times can vary depending on the season and light conditions in NSW, we recommend checking your specific date with our team.

  • Standard Sessions: Morning sessions generally begin at 10:00 am, with afternoon sessions starting at 1:30 pm.

  • Winter Itinerary: To account for shorter days, our winter sessions typically shift to a 9:00 am start for mornings and a 12:30 pm start for afternoons.

  • Seasonal Adjustments: During the winter months, session times may be brought forward slightly to ensure you get the most out of the daylight hours on our Appin fields.

  • Plan Your Trip: Given the travel time on the M31 (Hume Motorway) or Appin Road, we always recommend checking your booking confirmation for your specific arrival time.

  • Contact Us: For the most up-to-date availability and session times for the Appin centre, please call our booking office on 1300 785 766.

To ensure your session starts on time, we provide several tools to help you locate our Appin entrance easily. Standard GPS can sometimes lead you to a general rural coordinate rather than our specific gate, so we recommend the following steps:

  • Search for the Brand Directly: If you are using Google Maps or Apple Maps, searching for Delta Force Paintball Sydney (Appin) is significantly more accurate than entering the street address alone.

  • Use Your Booking Confirmation: Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing a detailed map and specific directions. We strongly recommend sharing the printable PDF with every driver in your group before you set off.

  • Sat Nav Caution: While GPS is helpful, woodland entrances can be discreet. Please cross-reference your Sat Nav with our specific directions to ensure you reach the correct gate at 275 Brian Road.

    • Note: If you are coming from Campbelltown, turn right onto Brian Road; if you are coming from Wollongong, turn left.

  • Live Support: If you are struggling to find us on the day, please call our local event coordinators on 1300 785 766. Our team can provide immediate guidance to ensure you reach the car park safely.

Pro-Tip for Organisers: Aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled arrival time (10:00 am or 1:30 pm). This allows for unexpected traffic on the M5 or Appin Road and ensures your group doesn’t miss the compulsory safety briefing.

From the moment you arrive, our team ensures your experience is professional, safe, and high-energy. A typical session follows this itinerary:

  • Arrival & Registration: You will be greeted by our friendly staff for check-in. To ensure a fast-track entry, please ensure all players have completed their online registration forms before arriving at the centre.

  • Kitting Up: Once checked in, you will be issued with your professional-grade gear, including your full-head goggle system, bespoke body armour, and full-body combat suit.

  • Compulsory Safety Briefing: Before the action begins, all players must attend a professional safety briefing. This covers equipment handling, game zone rules, and our strict safety protocols.

  • The Action Starts: You will head out to our themed game zones to play 4–6 varied games per session. Each game features a different objective to test your team’s strategy and skill.

However, as the Appin centre is in a bushland setting, please ensure you provide the driver with clear instructions and are ready to meet them at the entrance.

Sydney Pro-Tip: Since we don’t offer catering, most Sydney players bring a portable cooler with sandwiches and sports drinks. It’s the best way to ensure your troop stays fueled for the full session!

For the best safety and comfort, Delta Force Paintball Sydney recommends wearing light, layered clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for the rugged Appin bushland. As Australia’s leader in paintball safety, we provide professional-grade protective equipment to every player as standard.

Expert Clothing Recommendations

  • Base Layers: Wear light, breathable “old” clothes—such as a t-shirt and gym shorts or leggings—underneath the combat suit we provide. This prevents overheating while ensuring maximum mobility during high-intensity missions.

  • The Delta Force Combat Suit: Every player is issued a custom-designed, full-length combat suit with a protective padded collar. This is specifically engineered to protect your skin from the elements and paint.

  • Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes with good tread are essential for our outdoor terrain. We highly recommend hiking boots or old sneakers with ankle support. Note: Sandals, flip-flops, and metal-studded boots are strictly prohibited at our Appin centre.

Essential Gear & Extras

  • Safety Equipment: Your admission includes our industry-leading safety kit: full-head goggles with a wrap-around protection system and custom-designed body armour.

  • Post-Game Comfort: We strongly suggest bringing a towel and a full change of clothes for the journey home. After conquering game zones like Tomb Raider or Tropic Thunder, you’ll appreciate fresh clothes for the drive back to Sydney or Wollongong.

  • Payment Methods: Our on-site kiosk at the Appin centre accepts credit/debit cards and cash for refreshments, extra ammunition, or optional tactical upgrades like armored gloves and groin guards.

Pro-Tip from our Sydney Centre Manager:

If you are playing during a Sydney summer, focus on moisture-wicking fabrics and stay hydrated. For winter sessions, a light hoodie underneath your combat suit provides excellent warmth without restricting your movement when you’re darting between props

Yes, you may bring your own equipment, but strict NSW legal requirements apply:

  • Paintball Markers: You may use your own marker provided you hold a valid NSW Paintball Marker Permit (or equivalent interstate license) and the marker is inspected by our staff. Strictly .50 Calibre only. It must be chronographed to fire below 300 FPS and must be compatible with Delta Force air bottles (We do NOT allow any customers’ own gas cylinders on site for ANY REASON.). The marshals fill the air bottles to 3000 PSI after each double game (about 30 minutes of action). You will have more than enough gas to get you through the games.
The manager will do a quick check on the marker to make sure they satisfy H & S guidelines.

  • Goggles & Suits: You are welcome to use your own paintball-specific goggles and combat suits, provided they pass a safety inspection by our Center Manager on the day.

  • Paintballs: For health, safety, and environmental reasons, only paintballs issued by Delta Force on the day of your event may be used. External paintballs are strictly prohibited.

Important: We operate a strict “No Markers in Base Camp” policy. Your equipment must remain safely racked in our designated gun zone when not in active play. all equipment is subject to the final approval and discretion of the Centre Manager.

No. Only paintballs supplied by Delta Force Paintball Sydney on the day of your booking are permitted for use on our game zones.

  • Environmental Protection: Our Appin centre is located in a beautiful bushland setting. We are committed to using only high-quality, fully biodegradable paintballs that are safe for the local NSW ecosystem.

  • Impact Safety: Our paintballs are stored correctly to ensure they are “frangible” (meaning they break easily on impact). We cannot allow external paintballs, as older or poorly stored paint can harden, posing a safety risk to other players.

  • No “Bring Backs”: Once paintballs leave our care, we can no longer guarantee their safety standards. Therefore, any paint taken off-site cannot be brought back for future use.

Sydney Pro-Tip: Using our site-issued paintballs means you are using the best calibre for our .50 calibre markers

At Delta Force Paintball Sydney, your comfort and safety are our highest priorities. While you may feel a slight “sting” similar to a quick flick of a rubber band, our industry-leading safety gear is specifically designed to minimise impact.

To ensure a comfortable experience, we provide all players with:

  • Bespoke Body Armour: Our custom-designed plates protect the torso, significantly reducing the feel of any impact.

  • Full-Body Combat Suits: These thick suits feature integrated padded neck collars for extra protection in sensitive areas.

  • Full-Head Goggle Systems: Our goggles wrap entirely around the head, protecting the ears, temples, and face.

  • Professional Marshalling: Our marshals enforce a “strict distance rule,” ensuring no one is shot from close range.

  • .50 Calibre Technology: By using a smaller, lighter calibre of paintball, we reduce the impact energy by 60% compared to traditional centres.

Pro-Tip for Comfort: We recommend wearing loose, breathable underneath your combat suit. This adds an extra buffer and allows you to move freely. For maximum peace of mind, armoured gloves are also available at our on-site shop to protect your hands.

Yes, paintball is extremely safe at Delta Force Paintball Sydney. We maintain a 100% safety record through strict safety protocols, including:

  • Full-head goggles with a wrap-around system to protect the ears and neck.
  • Custom-designed body armour issued to all players as standard.
  • Highly trained professional marshals who supervise every game and enforce “no-fire” zones.

While the activity is supervised, we recommend parents ensure their child is mature enough to follow safety instructions. Still have questions? speak to our event coordinators at 1300 785 766 for more details.

There are no strict limits; however, players must be able to move comfortably through bushland terrain. Our combat suits and body armour are adjustable and available in a wide range of sizes to accommodate most players.
